How Well is Your Heart Working “How Well is Your Heart Working?” is Topic of Waverly Health Center’s February Speakers Series
Waverly Health Center (WHC) will offer their monthly Speakers Series on Tuesday, February 21. The event will take place from 7 to 8 p.m. in Tendrils Rooftop Garden on the WHC campus.
Dr. Cary Rose, FACC, visiting specialist, will present “How Well is Your Heart Working?” Learn about your eF (ejection fraction), which measures how well your heart is working. If not working properly, a person could experience sudden cardiac death. This is the largest cause of natural death in the United States—nearly 325,000 adult deaths each year. You’ll also learn about the signs of a failing heart.
This event is free and open to all. Please park in the Red Lot and enter through the Tendrils Rooftop Garden event entrance, located south of the Center Pharmacy drive-up.
