Greatest Spring Break For Kids will give visitors five days of $1 admission at seven amazing
downtown Waterloo attractions. The Ramada Hotel is also offering a special $55/night hotel rate
during March 18-22 (subject to availability) – call 319.233.7560.

“Projects like this pay tribute to McElroy and also fulfill his last wish – to benefit deserving young
people. All of these downtown attractions symbolize historical and creative ways to engage youth,
and truly enhance the renaissance of downtown Waterloo,” noted Stacy Van Gorp, Executive
Director of the R.J. McElroy Trust. “We are very fortunate to have these caliber of attractions in
our community, and providing kids with low-cost access to these amazing venues is a great way
to honor McElroy’s business and philanthropic contributions.”
A few tips to make the most of visitors’ World’s Greatest Spring Break For Kids experience: All
kids must be accompanied by an adult; bring enough grown-ups, supervision required; come
early - attractions will be busy; use overflow parking; watch for specials at downtown restaurants;
make it a vacation with the Ramada Hotel; plan ahead - special hours at each site; visit
www.worldsgreatestspringbreak.com for details; and plan to HAVE FUN!
