5-Week Wellness Program Waverly Health Center and The W to Offer 5-Week Wellness Program
Waverly Health Center and The W will hold the new Compass program, starting Thursday, April 18 at The W. The 5-week program meets from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., once a week on Thursdays through May 16.
The Compass program will help participants establish and maintain long-term, healthy behavior change. The program will help participants reach their personal goals through:
· A personalized, guided exercise program
· Learning to manage the why, where, when and how much of what they eat
· Looking at their nutrition habits and barriers to healthful eating
· Building momentum through personal choice and lasting behavior change
Each participant will have group and one-on-one attention from a dietitian, health coach and personal trainer. These experts will guide them through hands-on activities regarding nutrition, exercise, health and stress management. Participants can jump-start their physical activity through use of The W throughout the program.
