Hill Changes His Mind
Barkley Hill will be a Hawkeye. The Cedar Falls running back has decided to withdraw his verbal commitment to Iowa State and instead will sign a letter of intent to play for the University of Iowa next Wednesday. Hill took his official visit to Iowa over the weekend, and his family announced his decision on Monday night. Hill was recently selected to the Parade All-America team and was the only Iowa player to receive that honor. He rushed for nearly 2,500 yards and 40 touchdowns as a senior. Iowa will have holes to fill at running back next season, given the departure of leading rusher Marcus Coker, who will transfer.
